They are the the huge supermarket of asset management. By that I mean they have the biggest laundry list of funds and products to offer.
Not extremely hard to get a job there but the high up PM jobs are pretty lucrative.
BlackRock as a firm judges themself based on AUM, which they have more than anybody.
