I am not advocating they should make a change before NSD, however you can see a good argument for it. It is not a secret that the offense has been inept. For high level recruits on the bubble, a change at the OC position might be enough to push them over to LSU. Of course you could argue that some may leave, I guess it is all about the gamble.

We aren't recruiting anymore offensive players on the bubble in this class.

If the rumors are true, it has a little to do with possibly scaring away recruits, but mostly it has to do with the timing of the potential candidates availability.

If a change is made there's a good bit a details that need to be worked out, and right now Miles' main focus and energy is finishing up this recruiting class.

Why is it assumed that a new OC might scare potential recruits away? I think if anything, it would have the adverse effect.

Would you rather be a receiver going into Cam Cameron's system, or Stud's system?
