Right now I have a BSA 4x32 on my 10/22. Honestly it kind of sucks.

What do you have on yours/ what works the best?

I actually may get rid of the scope on my 300 Blackout as soon as I decide what I want to put on it. It's a Nikon from Walmart but, not sure of model. Will let you know.

For a .22 it really doesn't matter that much IMO.

I have a pine ridge 4x32(I think) on mine. It works.

Mrs. JSB has a 10/22 with iron sights on it. She asked me the other day for a scope to go on it, said she wanted a red-dot. I don't know much about them, any suggestions? (don't want to put a bunch into it, if I can help it.)

Cheap is preferred. I just don't like the BSA on there now.

I have that scope on my 17 HMR. Haven't had any problems with it and the gun will drive tacks.

I keep good scopes on my upper tier hunting rifles. And good (Aimpoint or Eotech)red dots on my "HD rifles."

But for a .22, where there's virtually no recoil, almost any scope will do (as long as it's sealed//moisture proof). I have a Simmons on a .22 Magnum Marlin lever action that has been remarkably accurate for the last three years.

I have a cheap Cabelas scope. It's a good scope for $100. I'm not shooting long range or in low light though.

I have a cheap Simmons 3x9 called an 8 point I think. It shots 1/2 groups at 50 yards all day long. If anything happens to it you just send it back to Simmons and they will send you a brand new one.
