I've never eaten coon. I'd imagine with a name like Stinkdog, it's not out of the relm of realit for you though.

I have before, but not on the regular. Wasnt bad, pretty greasy. Make sure you cut the glands out from under the arms. My uncle prepared it with some good rub and marinated it ad baked in oven with sweet taters. Wasnt bad at all, tated similar to roast

I ain't above it

I've got a herd of them eating up all of the corn I put out for the deer in the back yard. I mowed down on them a little over a year ago but they are back in full force again. I took out 7-8 of them last time and I'm on #5 in the last couple days.

If you do any research, coons are as clean as cats...in their mannerisms...before you cook it, you have to take out all the glands around the muscles,quite a few too, my grandpaw showed me how to do it...Baked coon is not bad.
