In sterilized government testing where they hit brick walls, no. In the real world where most everyone drives a 4 ton F-250? Yes.
Between your and her choices, they all look good - none are known for horrible depreciation. I'd get a CPO MDX and call it a day.

She currently has an MDX (10 years old). Has been a great vehicle. But she has her eye on the redesigned 2014 Acura MDX.
