At some point, how Mike ended up working with Harvey will be the biggest story line on the show. Mike's relationship with Rachel. Harvey's relationship with Donna. Mike had a drug dealing roommate who will probably show up again at some point, and a girlfriend you probably haven't seen.
All things you probably need to know about.
Really, just watching the first episode of the series would go a long way.

There's stuff you're going to be lost on. If you really want to get into it I'd just ignore these coming episodes(it's only 4 more until the end of the season) and start from the beginning. Season 3 should start in mid or late summer, so plenty of time to catch up.
