The name is ...mehhh
The Blue and White in the logo are too associated with Atlanta. As is the orientation of the pelican and basketball... way too close to call it unique.
I don't think the basketball market in nola will support an nba team in the long run. I think the name and the team will be short lived.
**Has a lot to do with the 4-5 "superteams" that stern is allowing to take over and squash the rest of the league.

To be honest, I never really liked the name "Saints" for an NFL franchise. It grew on on me over time. I don't like Pelicans at all but I guess I'll get used to it. I'm OK with the Logo design though.

I think that you think that you know what's up, but you would be wrong. Stern and Adam Silver, promise, will do whatever it takes to keep the team here. Plus the team will be roughly in the middle of the pack in terms of profitability. No worries.
