It's an extremely tough decision for a club to make, you open yourself up to criticism from either side- either it's too plain and boring or too different and unique. IMO, they hit a home run. The name fits, it isn't a replica of something else and is unique to the state. The color scheme is spot on, especially with the main two being navy blue and gold. The main logo? I mean it may not be the best thing ever but it isn't bad and the secondary logos are awesome.
Once the unis come out and they start playing and people have a chance to digest it, I think it will be viewed as one of the better franchise brands in the league.

The name is ...mehhh
The Blue and White in the logo are too associated with Atlanta. As is the orientation of the pelican and basketball... way too close to call it unique.
I don't think the basketball market in nola will support an nba team in the long run. I think the name and the team will be short lived.
**Has a lot to do with the 4-5 "superteams" that stern is allowing to take over and squash the rest of the league.
