My brother and I both have '06 Arctic Cats. The ONLY issue we have had with them are the shock mount bushings. Back then they made them 1 piece and they wore out. The replacements are 2 piece and seem to be much better. They were expensive though. Other than that, they have been more than quality machines. We have not had the first mechanical problem with either of them.
Knock on wood.

I work on them every day and I would buy a polaris sportsman 500 fuel injected 1st then a yamaha grizzly.
I work on more hondas and arctic cats than anything
polaris has the best engine trans and fr and rear diffs by far
hondas have shitty wheelbearings and brakes. and the rearends get water in them very easily suposedly they fixed the rearends but my buddys 2012 gets water in the rear diff every time we ride.
polaris pulls better and will go through deeper water. plus it rides better than any ive eva ridin
and ive rode or owned most

Rode last year at mud nats. With a guy with an artic cat, it literally stayed broken the entire trip. It was one thing after another. I've never personally owned one but have seen plenty having issues. I wouldn't recommend arctic cat, but that's jmo.
