I loved going to the lookouts, I remember being the most impressed with chatanooga, tennesse smokies, and the Jackson braves having the stadiums that stood out. The locker rooms for the lookouts was the best (road team wise) that I can remember for minors.

I LOVE the new stadium. It brought the Lookouts back to life when they moved the stadium to the downtown riverfront.
BUT the old Engel Stadium has some GREAT baseball history.
-Had one of the deepest center fields in the country at 471 ft.
-Ready for this doozie? A GIRL struck out Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth during an exhibition game.
-Tons of famous people played on it.
It's a great wikipedia to read: LINK
I played on it in high school. It was in disrepair. Made me sad. But they recently filmed the movie "42" there last year. And they did some renovations. So hopefully it will be used more.
