I've had my gaming rig mining off and on for the past month or so and I've made about 5 bucks. Mine has a 560Ti in it and I estimate I've been mining about 30% of the time since I started.

If a company wanted to offer insurance against bitcoin losses and theft, they could do so. Are there any companies doing that right now? I don't think so.

After reading this thread, it sounds like you could replace every occurrence of Bitcoin with "Iraqi Dinar" and you wouldn't have much difference.

Difference is, the Iraqi Dinar is a government currency, bitcoins isn't. Don't think I'll get involved but it's interesting stuff
