Panasonic plasma. The new models will be coming out soon, so you can probably get last years flagship VT model for a pretty good price.
As far the person asking about gaming, stick to the LED for that. Depending on much you play, plasmas will have a touch of IR with games having static images on it too long. The IR goes away with normal tv viewing but no reason to risk burn in when gaming for hours playing something that has like a static map or something like that.
