You're telling me Ray Lewis's career at LB is better than Tony Gonzalez's career at TE? And that it's not close?! You're out of your damn mind. Not only is Tony Gonzalez the best TE in history in every statistical category, he has the second most receptions in NFL history among all players (behind Jerry Rice), the 7th most receiving yards among all players, and the 6th most receiving TDs among all players.

Ray Lewis is an all-time great linebacker. There's no denying that. But Tony Gonzalez is far and away the best tight end in NFL history.

ETA: By the way, great question OP. Both players are all-time greats.
