One at CB and the other at safety? If they both want in?

That would be a great finish to the class

If they both want to, but I think they choose to go to elsewhere though.

Red, our secondary this year looked very slow. I haven't seen us get beaten so much by pure athleticism. We need better athletes.

Agreed, and better discipline

Derrick Raymond, tre'davious white and rashard Robinson are all great athletes

I'm wondering if our philosophy of going after bigger CBs has cost of speed. Chavis has always said "I'll never sacrifice speed for size. " Our big corners: Mills, Collins, and especially Simon seemed to be slow breaking on the ball. That's why I think Tre' will be starting before the end of the season.

Isn't Dewayne Thomas suppose to be pretty good as well?

Jeremy Cutrer will be beast too, anyone see him hit?! Dude hits like Reid...

Yeah, i dont know if it was speed or bad technique.....simon just looked lazy so we will see

It seems like most think if lsu wants jackson we get him, why is that?

Simon has very poor technique. Mike Detiller said that Simon was much better as a man-to-man CB than in zone coverage. For some reason, things never came together for LSU. Something was missing and I think it was Mathieu and Claiborne. When we lost PP7, we still had a shutdown CB in Mo plus a game changer in Mathieu. Losing one was bad, but losing both really changed things for the defense.

Simon can't tackle. so good luck in the pros.and I know Deion Sanders couldn't tackle either BUT not really a good comparison I don't think.

I think we would take both

I would like both, not sure we get 'em both though.

Mudbug, I disagree about Simon being able to tackle. I've seen him lay some big licks on people. However, he does have the tendency to have very poor technique when he tackles. I do remember him missing several tackles versus Clemson.

jackson declared bama his favorite after his visit this weekend

Yep, and he visits us next weekend...

Reported by BOL. Isn't it standard procedure for Bama to be named the leader of any prospect after visiting by this site? Unless they pick another school, then the offer was not committable.
:sarcasm:
