Why do you think LSU has "gotten tough times"?
The chips fell last year in a 13-0 run and the NC was pissed away by the coach. This year, the coach pissed away the Bama and Clemson games.
Things won't fall into place unless Less makes some changes, which his arrogant arse won't do. (See 1/9)

This. We could be the NE Patriots and it wouldn't matter. Until Les Miles takes a big step back, or becomes a shell of his former self, quality of recruits and talent will matter nada.

When you go 13-0 that's not "chips falling". That's earning it. The way Bama has been getting to the NC the past couple years is "chips falling".
