Russell Shepard made the worst possible decision of his young life in coming to LSU. He would've been a superstar at Oregon, Oklahoma, Texas, Oklahoma St.,

NO, but maybe at a La Tech or N Texas St. he could have gotton the PT he needed to truely develop his WR skills.

Check rivals, NONE of the 2009 dual threat Qbs amounted to anything except Geno Smith....2010 basically the same thing..so what happened to RS at LSU basically happened to every other dual threat QB at the school they chose

Lol. The guys the number 1 recruit in the country. He could have excelled at many top tier programs. Your post is ridiculous. It's likening someone like Mingo choosing to go to the cfl next year. Les miles did Shep a diservice. No one knows what'd he'd be somewhere else. Even without the hype, our putrid offense needed something. If its either the short sided option or Shep, ill take Shep. The Miles loyalists, however, would likely keep with the short sided option.
