Not saying they couldn't, but the label "annual" and "bordeline" are extreme scenarios here. The Hornets/Pelicans will be lucky to have two and Davis will take any spot in the frontcourt that Anderson would be considered for. Gordon has a slightly easier road at the moment but after Kobe, there are 3 guards ahead of Gordon- Paul, Westbrook and Harden. Tony Parker is in there as well for at least 2 more years.

I'd be willing to bet Gordon is more likely to make an All-NBA team (accounting for an entire year-especially if the Hornets make a playoff run next year) before he makes 2 All-Star games.

* I will concede with the game back in NOLA that he MIGHT get some reserve love that year.

Dwight Howard is an all-star starter this year. All-Star games playes is not a great indicator. I'm surprises Yao Ming wasn't voted in again.
