Why should it be banned? It would be a perfect explanation as to why he had an imaginary girlfriend for 3 years. I'm sure his "girlfriend" excuse got him out of otherwise socially uncomfortable situations.
And what if he is gay? I personally don't care, but it would be groundbreaking in the world of sports.
