I agree about the Simon comparison. He would have been an even better candidate had he returned.

I'm just worried about our safeties right now. None of the guys we have now, hell and even times last year with Reid, that they can play the pass and cover. All of our safeties struggled with that last year.

Collins could at least help at S in unique situations. I would have more faith with him playing S if the game was on the line than anyone else we have right now. However, I do agree that it's highly unlikely this ever happens.

O i gotcha. I agree that all of our safeties struggled last year. Hell, if White or another FR step up and show up for us early on in the year, I wouldnt mind moving Collins to S for Loston when we know the opposing offense is going to throw it. I wouldnt mind putting 4 CBs back there at all. But, Im hoping Ronald Martin can change all that for us. Dude is as good an athlete as weve ever had. 6'2 205 with a 40inch vert that can move. He played on the basketball team after football season ended his freshman year. Very very talented and a very very gifted athlete. Hope he can step up big for us because we are going to need it without our leader back there in Reid.
