He was our best CB this past season IMO as a true freshman.

I absolutely agree with that.

Actually I agree with everything you just said.

Haha. I just think its Collins time and hes been waiting for it. Chavis is on him all day everyday because he knows what type of player he can be and hes been prepping him for this role. He is the guy Im most excited about coming up this season. Him and Debo.

I know we are losing a lot of DBs from this past season, but I thought Simon was our weakest link. With him gone, I think we will be just as good or better at CB. Not really sure what was up with Simon , but he just didnt have it.

And Penrod, I agree. Im not sure how much he will see the field if he cant play nickle though. But, Loston is as injury prone as they come so he better be ready to step in at any given moment.

Look at the past few years. We always have 1 big body CB out there taking away 1 side of the field, with everyone else man to man on the other WRs.

We always have an NFL caliber corner to take away one side of the field. They just happened to be phyical guys. Mills is listed the same height as Claiborne. So it's not about having a big body, but more so great coverage skills and speed.

As for Collins, I could see him being moved to safety to make room for all of the younger guys with more skill, better hips, and more speed. I know he made strides as the season went on, but that would make him even more valuable as a tall safety who can cover.

That's if we don't get our top S targets this signing class.
