I could buy everything Schaap purported him to say until he got to the part where Te'o claims he didn't know it was a hoax until just two days ago. That directly contradicts Notre Dame's athletic director and what their private investigation into the matter concluded.

Did ND's investigation conclude the death was a hoax? Or that the girl was a hoax? A lot of hoaxes to consider.
