I'm with capital one right now , do they have any decent cards to look at?

I think its wildly held their best card is Capital One Venture Card.

I just got one, 10,000 points if you spend like 1,500 in first 3 months (easy) and 2 points on every purchase no matter what it is.

I am looking forward to a long and fruitful partnership.

Some cards, like lynx's above, don't have as great broad based rewards and make up for in other places (like a better dollar per point ratio as he mentioned), or offer just as good rewards on certain segments, but you have to see if it will work for you. If you spend money everywhere, I think the card I mentioned is a good one, but I recommend doing your homework if you have spending habits that group around certain items, as some cards may offer 3X for that type of purchase.

Prepare to do a little math if you really want the best card for you.

What can 10,000 Venture points be redeemed for?

If it is for $100, then I need to reconsider my AMEX.
