Hell, when I graduated from LSU in '72, baseball was considered a minor sport. Back then the baseball team was lucky to have one hundred fans at The Box. Basketball had a good turnout due to "The Pistol". After Pete left, basketball wasn't worth a crap until Brown got hired. Football was the only sport that the students and fans gave a crap abou. As a graduate of LSU, I was always pissed at how both of our track achieved success but were never recognized until the baseball team got recognized. Pat Henry did the right thing and left.t

LSU alum, your as usual right on..I like you enjoy the "Minor sports" and know how exciting and inexpensive they are..love football, but enjoy other sports too..having said this I get frustrated (very) that many LSU sports are medicore at best and IF we have a team we shud at least try and field a team that can compete for sec titles every 5-7 years....and in sme we do not...tennis needs better facilities...but also need better players...
