I carry my XDs locked and loaded everywhere I can. I just realized the other day that if my trigger gets hung up on something and gets pulled, if I depress the beaver tail safety it will shoot. I still carry it and love it but wish that did was not the case.
To clarify, I thought about what would happen in this situation and tried it unloaded to discover the answer.

I carry my XDs loaded also. If I reholster I will remove holster or pinch it in without touching the backstrap. Are you saying the grip safety fails on your pistol?
