I read it recently. Some of it is quite dense, and repetitive albeit informative. Gist: Eastern European country breaks from the Soviet Union. Turns out they're now poor fiscally and in footballing terms and corrupt.
The other sections about football in Ukraine, the Balkans, and Russia are interesting.
