I would think the majority of top gates come when select play select schools and non select play non select. Now if you would take your top three gates per year, you will probably have some mixture in there.

Top gates are going to always come from old rivalries, not necessarily public vs private. Im sure some public gates of big rivals would be bigger than many private gates. School size is obviously an issue too.
