NFL: Elite QB. Colts went 2-14 a year after Manning left. Denver is 13-3 now.

College: Defense and running game. don't need elite QB or elite WR. control the LOS.

Denver also won a playoff game last year with the shittiest QB in the league and we don't know if the broncos will even win a playoff game yet this year with him.

Even though I'm sure they will.. You do not need an elite QB to be good. 3 rookie qbs made it to the playoffs this year. Alex Smith almost made it to the superbowl last year and was average and his replacement now is average.

Eli Manning isnt elite and he has won 2 with good defense, good running game, and above average qb play.

So if Denver wins one playoff game this year, Peyton Mannning=Tim Tebow

Haven't the Saints missed the playoffs twice in the last 5 years or so?

Packers were 1 and done this year

Neither QB in the super bowl was elite IMO

I think the key to winning championships is to have good ball control once you get to the playoffs

Turnovers are what really killed SF in the superbowl
