So these are left:
quote:

- The Possession
- The Woman in Black (surprisingly solid)
- Grave Encounters
- The Crazies
- Contagion (not horror but scary in its own right)
- 30 Days of Night
- Buried (not really horror)
- The Poughkeepsie Tapes
- The Covenant

My rank of how much I enjoyed them/how I'd recommend them:

- 30 Days of Night - sort of a different take on vampires...really cool.
- Crazies - has kind of a zombie feel. I'm not a huge Olyphant movie, but I like him in this.
- Grave Encounters - Cool found footage movie about a reality show (similar to the Ghost Hunter shows) that investigates an abandoned insane asylum. Shenanigans ensue.
- The Woman in Black - Been a while since I saw this one, but it's legit creepy, and shows that Daniel Radcliffe is better than soem of his HP acting.
- Poughkeepsie Tapes - see above post, but it's definitely not for everybody.
- Contagion - pretty realistic look at a worldwide outbreak of a deadly virus, but not exactly "horror."
- The Possession - I like it because it actually has a decent ending, rather than something just thrown together stupidly.
- The Covenant - if you liked Chronicle from last year, this is sort of like that, just not in a "found footage" presentation. I liked it.
- Buried - not a horror, but more of an uncomfortable thriller. Ryan Reynolds is a worker overseas who is kidnapped and buried alive in a coffin. And that's the whole movie. It sounds stupid, but it works and he does a good job, and it's pretty fricking intense throughout. I rank it here more because it's not horror (and Contagion is better).
