I don't think any team was luckier than LSU 2007. 2 losse don't get you to the title game very often. 2 losses to unranked opponents
Kentucky was ranked btw, and a very good team, don't distort the facts to attempt to win an argument bra. U cannot possibly be an LSU fan while doing that regarding '07. Also, Arky was an underachiever that yr and earlier they were ranked, laden with NFL upper round draftees.
Also, we never lost in regulation, and it took 3 OT's to down us each time, and Kentucky was on the road. And we proved we were top dog by geauxing what 30+ points unanswered on the top D that yr in the NC? we throttled OH State. Consensus #1 because of it. Shameful.

Finished 8-5. You really need to learn context of conversations before getting involved. Poster had said how lucky Bama has been in winning their last 3 titles. Any LSU fan that doesn't think we lucked out in making the BCSNCG that year is just incapable of facing The facts. Not only did we lose twice(never happened prior or since) but WV lost to Pitt in a huge upset. We were very fortunate(lucky) to make the title game.
