Should we? This isn't a homer thread though. If he really slides in the draft I think he would be a definite steal and we need a tackle. LSU's pass protection was not the same after he was injured.

ETA: Not in the first round but in what round do you see him sitting there and the value becomes too good to pass up. I think he will be a good pro.

I don't think he'll last in the 5th. He was given a 3rd-4th round grade even with the injury. A good combine/pro day and he might be gone before we get a chance

I would start considering him in the 4th or 5th round.

Faulk will have a future in the NFL. But the Saints have alot of RT and guards on the roster. If Bushrod can't be re-signed a premium starting LT will be a must. Look for Marcel Jones to possibly take over at RT.

I was considering posting this thread but did not for fear for my life

I think it would be an absolute steal in say the 4th or 5th round. He's 1st round talent without the injury. Would fill a need without him having to come in right away if not fully healed. We could bring him along backing up Strief/Bushrod and if he seems to be the real deal, let him take over probably the right when the time comes.

Being he really played only 1 full year at lsu, I would be happy with him as our 4th round pick.

resisted posting this, but yeah, if he falls, it's the classic saints pick
