for 2013. i have never seen anything like this in all of the years i've been a college football fan and esp. as an LSU fan. our 2013 year is dead. you can't lose two classes instead of one and be a player in the SEC and the nation. i feel like i've been kicked in the gut. and my big question is why? why did the whole class leave? damn, we go from having the 2nd highest graduation rate in the conference to having nobody left to graduate. is miles responsible for this? is doesn't make sense to me; he always seems so supportive of the guys getting their degree and i thought the players really liked him. i don't think any team could fill the holes we're gonna have in one year.

We redshirted a huge portion of the 2009 class, and that was a #1 class in some rankings. I don't expect player to stick around more than 4 years unless they have to

Shucks. These kids decided to go make some money. Shame on them.

LSU was tied for the most freshman played in the entire country and we went 10-3 about a breathe away from the SEC championship.
While losing playmakers hurt, you're delusional if you don't think young, hungry but now experienced guys won't step up

Why stay? They already know they aren't winning any championships and aren't going to improve their stock staying for another shitty year, so what's the point?

The thing with Miles is you just never know. You think he's on the verge of destruction and then he'll go and completely redeem himself.

This is a NCAA record number of underclassmen declaring. We should be losing about 3-4, yet we're losing 10. Why do our guys want to make money more than other SEC players who had way better years than our guys? I didn't realize that Bama, Texas A&M, and UGA recruited only financially set players.

I remember buying 2 tickets outside tiger stadium at the Tennessee game in 1993. I bought the 2 tickets for $5 apiece and the lady went ahead and gave me 3 more tickets for free.

I think it has something to do with Miles. His arrogance and bad coaching. Especially in the last two bowl games which really puts a damper on their whole feeling and willingness to stay.

take your meds and go to bed, grandpa

This is unprecedented. There has to be more to this than just leaving early for the money. Some could have drastically improved their stock by staying. Unless players speak out, we may never know.

Under the new CBA the salaries of rookies are not that much different from 1st round to 7th round. Bonuses are a still a big deal. If you can go in the first round you have declare to make that big money. I think we have a few first rounders leaving.
