First two reasons go hand in hand. Losing Faulk this year really hurt our line as the depth was very young and inexperienced. Better line gives better qb play. Another thing that hurt the offense is that our wr's are not good at getting off press coverage. When your line can't block for long and you have an immobile qb then the offense is going to struggle. I think next year we have a better o-line and thus and better offense.

Who is to blame for this?

MILES.

either:

A) He can;t recruit the right players

or

b) He can;t coach them properly

IT"S MILES.

sometimes. but mett misses far too many wide open receivers when time is not an issue. and many of his misses are not even close. he also struggles with "touch" on the short lob passes. the man is not an accurate passer. sure, all qb's make bad passes and all qb's have tough days, but with mett it's more like the inverse. his accurate throws are the exception. surely you have noticed the numbers of passes thrown behind the wr and the number of extreme overthrows (even on short routes).

Young and inexperienced is a Miles issue and his responsibility to ensure we recruite for need and have them prepared to step in if required. Having to start a redshirt freshman guard and true freshman tackle shows a massive recruting gap. Recruiting is suppose to be Miles strength
