We sucked at MoV in 4 out of Miles 8 seasons...which proves the exact opposite of your assertion. The difference: 4 of the bad seasons came in the last 5 years.
Your "case" blows.

How'd they compare to the rest of the SEC, particular the good half in MoV in the last 5 seasons?
You see, the SEC is what matters. If we aren't good enough here from now on out, nothing else matters.

I sincerely hope this is not a serious statement.
In 2010 JJ completed 56% of his passes, had 7 TDs, 10 ints, and a rating of 115.
In 2011 JJ completed 61%, had 6 TDs, 3 ints, and a rating of 139.
Both got better and you do have to be blind or bias not to see it.
They both still had major flaws in their QB ability as I have pointed out, but they improved.
I dont know why it's so hard for some of our negatigers to admit.

Bad is bad. Not much else to it.

All you need to do is show Miles didn't fail miserably at keeping the score close 4/8 years of his LSU tenure.
Good luck.

Miles always plays down to the competition! Never goes for stile points. Some times gets to close for me like the Aub. game this year.

In fact the data presents THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF YOUR OP.
You are currently booming yourself, made some outrageous claim I asked you to back up. You can't because the data doesn't agree with your absurd contention.

To all you sunshine pumpers, why do most sports analysis not think much of Miles coaching in games? Just heard Barnhart say he was disappointed in "watching Miles mismanage the Clemson game for the hundredth time".

Awww, leave him alone he's working. So what's the going rate per post? Hope you guys get a raise next year.

Les miles is a great bowl coach as well if you give him a month to prepare.

do you know what a "trend" is? Do you understand temporal relationships?

that wasn't my contention. Did you have similar difficulty when reading the article in the OP? Is that why you have no idea it refutes your point?

I'm not sure what you get out of that link, but I'm sure it's negative towards LSU and the sky is falling.
So where is your evidence LSU staff has a philosophy of trying to keep games close?
Got a link or just more drivel?

We were not discussing if both QBs were bad. We were talking about improvement from 2010 to 2011.
I pointed out the improvement you are too blind or bias to see and you jumped to another topic.
Negatigers dont like being proven wrong. I would think you guys would be use to it by now.

As opposed to relying on the weight of the first three seasons while ignoring the weight of the last FIVE to show a modern trend?
Wow

Trends are current results and don't contain 5 yr periods. Maybe 2 yrs or 3 tops.
Most reasonable people judge a program on its whole or last 2 to 3 yrs. When you start with the cherry picking you start losing creditability. imo
It's really kinda amusing that in 08, 09, and beginning of 2010 the little faith guys didn't want to talk 5 yrs, but only the current 2 &1/2 yr trend.
Now, the little faith guys want to talk 5 yrs and not 2 & 1/2. Go figure......
Kinda like at one time all rage here was the 8-8 SEC LSU 2 yr record. Now that its a 2 yr SEC record of 15-2, that's hardly ever even mentioned.
Go figure........
