Lost a lot of respect for the kid after this comment, but he is still a tiger and people need to realize that. Even though he maybe didn't score a bunch of touchdowns like people thought he would, he was still an asset and part of the team.

I didn't lose respect for him at all. He's been a loyal supporter of the program his whole time here and continued to get shat upon. He had his problems on offense with shitty hands, but his talent alone warranted way more involvement than he ever got. I'm sure that most people on this board could come up with more creative ways to utilize Shep than calling a single jet sweep for him every other game. I don't want Shep to negatively impact the program, but if I were Shep, I'd be pissed. Good for him for standing up for himself. He should have done it sooner by transferring out or telling Miles to eff off once he could see the handwriting on the wall, but he was loyal to his core and likely to his detriment.
