any suggestions as a replacement?

We bought a Ruger LCR for my wife to carry about two weeks ago. I think it will be a fine gun for our need, but she had a really hard time shooting it with any accuracy the first time at the range. It's going to take some getting used to, and I'm not sure she will put the effort into it yet.

Anyway, is it possible for you to go rent/shoot a couple and find one she likes, then buy it? That would be my suggestion.

If I were a woman and had a purse to drop it in, I'd choose the Ruger SRc over the LCR. It's a bit thicker and I know many will say the SRc is very concealable, to me, the slimmer the better.
