Well, She (Mother Nature) engineered all this shite (The Universe). Gawd is androgynous. Its a Latin/Greek based language thing. With the masculine always taking precedence. "It" doesn't work well describing an entity that exhibits qualities of personhood. For me, I always liked the way many Native American tribes described He/She/It, namely, The Great Spirit.
