Confession time:

When all this went down and was going down with TM7 and the drugs, I just thought, well not all that surprising - inner city kid and drugs, but that is life.

After seeing the interview, I feel completely sorry/ terrible for the kid and I was wrong - he made a mistake, yes, but just couldn't get out of it quick enough. He was right - all he had/ has was football, and it took all of this to show him his errors - that is just being young. Some of you will call me a sucker, but I don't see it that way.

We all make mistakes - daily - and we get more than just a few chances cause very few people or no body really knows about it. For him it was different. He made a mistake, but publicly and on a national level. Less room to spare.

Wish him nothing but the best.

This! Exactly. How many of you, his detractors, would be able to air your dirty laundry at his age? Or any age for that matter? His failures are on constant public display.

Ever hear what Jesus says bout The Measuring Stick? U guys who judge harshly betta reconsider. And take that f'in plank outta ur eye! This is a good kid, who's only weakness was tryna escape a bit from his massive hurt thru a mild intoxicant. Something nearly everyone does from time to time, but ur balm may be something other than cannabis.

It was wrong b/c its against the rules, true. But this was not the betrayal like some of you might think it was. Besides, the most epic tales are always those bout redemption and rising from the ashes (no pun). Give him a few chances. He has earned it. He WILL make us proud again. Book it!
