Agreed. Looking at the last few years' drafts, here are OTs that were drafted around the middle of the 1st.
2011: Tyron Smith (9th)
Nate Solder (17th)
2010: Anthony Davis (11th)
Bryan Bulaga (23rd)
2009: Michael Oher (23rd)
2008: Ryan Clady (12th)
Without doing much research, early to mid 1st round OTs seem to pan out a lot more than most positions. With the way we draft on defense, I'd rather get a good OT in the 1st, and spend money in FA for a defensive player, rather then drafting another mediocre defensive player, and overpaying Bushrod.
