This real problem with the offense is the inability to prevent defenses from stacking the box. That falls on the coaches.
There is nothing wrong with the scheme. Hell a power running game is great with 4 RBs and a dominant defense, but the lack of a medium to deep passing game hurts this offense. Defenses realize it's not risky stacking the box against LSU, when it absolutely should be. Maybe we should hire a passing game coordinator? I don't know, but until LSU is able to establish a legit deep passing game, expect the same offensive output.
I'm not talking about 350 yards passing/game. All I'm saying is we need enough of a deep passing threat to make defenses think twice about stacking the box.
