I think they did call more deep passes to start, but Alexander couldn't block a pee wee player and Mett kept going down before any deep routes could develop.

If you don't trust your OL to keep your QB upright, you don't call plays that take a long time to develop.

Don't think that I'm pleased with what happened during the game, I'm just looking at this objectively.
