Anybody else glad the season is over?

I'm tired of getting pumped up all week only to come close to suffering a heart attack on Saturdays. It's also getting old not having a qb, bad play calling, under performing team etc.. This has been true for several years aside from some games last year. It's hard to watch, boring and depressing. Good riddance 2012 and next year holds no promise for me. Not looking forward to it at all and that sucks.

Have lost interest in something that I use to look forward to with great anticipation.

this. even watching a win was like dry heaving, then celebrating because you didn't puke...

Glad it's over, nothing better than the first game of the season to get me back in it again

Thank you.
It is down right depressing that something I used to enjoy so much has left me so apathetic. There's no passion left in it for me.
It's like trying to shoot pool with a rope.

Sad, but true. I used to feel terrible after a hard fought loss, but the wins and losses seem much the same these days...unsatisfying.

I guess this is what an old man feels when he looks back on his youth. He used to walk around with a raging hard on banging hot chicks. Now all he's got left is a limp jimmy, swollen prostate and a saggy old lady.

Toughest season since 98. The wins make you pop Nitros and the losses make u pop your wife. (J/k). I was done after bama. Knowing were gonna be 2nd fiddle moving forward frustrates me because we all know what this program is capable of. I can't believe I'm glad the season is over. I lost so much passion after the Miles fk up of bama. I'll always be a tiger. I'll always watch, but, I do envy those people that function happily without sports.

Dude, love this post. Couldn't have said this better myself. I love watching the Tigers, ever since I was a kid. It was exciting to watch every game, win or loss. Now... not so much. It's either a heart attack or wanting to throw something at the TV every game. Baseball season is weeks away. Can't wait.

I've long since stopped taking football so seriously and it's been liberating. Other interests in life. I still watch but I don't obsess.
But I'll always look forward to the next year. Just imagine if you're a PSU fan and really have nothing to be cheerful about.

I'm celebrating not having to watch this maddening team play anymore games. It's been a big part of my 52 years on this planet, now it hurts to watch and I'm scared of us embarrassing ourselves week in week out. I'll forget about the dread sometime this spring and then start thinking about going to Dallas in sept. and going to Babydolls again and maybe catch a game while in town.......

I'm ready for baseball too. The thing that sucks about SEC football is if we don't beat Bama, it's over. So basically, it's like waiting all year for Christmas and all you got was a pair of new socks.

LSU Football is a buzzkill. Just ask the 50,000 people that clear out of Tiger stadium at half time.

1/9 killed my optimism for this team. It killed a part of my soul too.

I was in the stands from 1980 until 2001. I remember getting skull drug by spurrier every year except one. Even if we kept it close, it felt great because we played to our full potential. There were a lot of highs (FL 97) and lows (Miami of Ohio and UAB) but I was always excited for the next week even during shitty years. I can still smell the burning rebel flags when we beat ole miss.
I remember waiting for the schedule to come out every year. I would go over to my grand pa's house (God rest his soul) and we would predict what would happen for each game. Man, I couldn't wait for that schedule. We would talk football for hours. Those were great times but I guess you can only grow up once.

Biglego, I'm trying man. I admit, it's an obsession. Hell, I'm typing this on a cfb message board! I got to spend time with my Ol man and some good fiends last night. Aside from that, I blew $300 on a shitty ice cream sundae topped with turd sprinkles. So glad it's over. Shitty ending to a shitty season.
