I never post on this board (because I'm not a Hornets fan) but I live close to Charlotte, NC on breaks, and decided to go check out the Bobcats and Hornets game tonight due to the UK connection.
I was pumped to see that Eric Gordon was back, as it made for a really entertaining game as I think he's one of the best pure scorers in the game.
After the game though I got to meet a lot of the players for New Orleans (one of my buddies is director of security at TWC Arena and hooked me up).
Got to meet Robin Lopez, Anthony Davis, Brian Roberts, Roger Mason, Grevis, and Lance Thomas. Also got to meet Monty Williams, and 2 other assistant coaches one named Fred. They were all incredibly nice and more laid back than I could have imagined. Unfortunately I didn't get to take any pictures due to the fact that right as I was about to get one with Robin, the travel game made them all leave because they had to bus to the airport.
All in all it was a great experience, and just figured this would be interesting to post here. Hornets may have gained a new fan tonight.

There is a sizable contingent of UK fans pulling for the Hornets for the obvious UK connections. Plus a bunch came down when y'all won the 'ship in Nola and seemed to have a good time.
Get on the Hawnet/Pelican pain train now because it will be getting damn crowded this time next season.

There were a shite ton of people in UK gear at the game tonight.
I'm a huge NBA fan, but don't really have a favorite team. Hornets definitely have potential though and like I saw in another thread had y'all had EG all year you'd probably have a shot at the playoffs this year.
