Simon, I don't think he is really overlooked, but when anyone lists our top defensive players, he seems to be the last one mentioned.
Media wise he is always brought up in connection with Mathieu or Claiborne. And he should have been named All-SEC

Trai Turner.

Once he got settled the line was shored up. This is what allowed the passing game to get better during the latter part of the season. During the first few games, Mett was getting killed on a lot of dropbacks (remember the hit he took against North Texas?). Miles and Co. kept the passing game simple because the O-line couldn't protect the QB. Once the line was shored up and they could rely on the line to protect the QB, the passing game opened up. I like points and flashy plays as much as the next guy, but the big games are won by the dudes in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

Another vote for Loston. Glad he stayed healthy this year.

No Question
Josh Dworcyck without him we wouldve lost almost every significant game. Who wouldve ever thought he couldve blocked all those premier pass rushers and been better than average at Left Tackle overall.
If he couldnt have done the job, where would that have left us.

I'd go with Trai Turner and Vadal Alexander for stepping up and playing out of their minds as a RS and true freshman and also have to give props to Dworacyzk. He catches a lot of flack on here but without those 3, the offense doesn't start clicking like it did.

Turner and alexander holding down the left side of the o-line.

Wish they would have been playing earlier in the year.

Faulk, collins, porter, turner, & alexander our o-line is nasty next year.

James Hairston. The short kickoffs last year against Mississippi State were very costly. I hope he can be above 80% accuracy next year on field goals.
