Any idea on approx value? Would it be reliable at all age considered? Fun to shoot?
Seen some positive opinions but nobody with the expertise as the OB ballers.

Worthless piece of junk. I'll give ya $50 for it as I need a good fancy paperweight.

This. I've been investing in metals for salvage value so I will give you $75.

I have an heirloom Police Positive, and it's worthless. I'm still not sure why they put a standard barrel on a small frame, but it is what it is. The Official Police is just the medium frame version of that, although I have limited experience with it - I'm basing my opinion on the Police Positive.
The problem is that they were so mass produced and are so plentiful, even today, they hold no real value, despite their vintage. I would also not fire +P ammo out of it, but it is a decently made gun, when Colt was on the top of their game. It should shoot well, but anytime you're picking up a gun of that vintage, get it thoroughly checked out by a pro before firing it - improper lock up, or too much play in the cylinder can make for a bad time.

Glad I asked. Hell with all that.

I have a police positive. It's worth about 200.
