jwal-we must be close to one another. Same rain/lack of deer. My cousin's grandson is pond jumping mallards and woodies. He's the only one with the right idea. At least I told my 18 yo bit go up the ladder stand and hunt the ground blind. He thinks I'm pretty smart right about now.

Ican - where you hunting. I'm about 10 miles north of Canton, MS. The rain has stopped for now. Hope it holds off until 9:30, then I gotta get down and drive to louisiana for a wedding. Looks to be a good weekend to hunt, so I'm not liking my buddy for picking this time of year to get married.
