looking at a savage model 10 in .223

what kind of scope would you recommend? i shot a guys night force last weekend.. it had mildots and was really awesome...

Honestly, depends on how much you want to spend. I dont have a lot of money like the big dogs, so Schmidt and Bender and Hensoldt are out of my league. I use a Bushnell HDMR and its a great scope, Ive used about 7 different Bushnell scopes now. Not from their hunting or chepa lines though and theyve all been great.

For that setup, Vortex Viper PST matching reticle/turrets would be great. If you want to step up, check out the Vortex Razor or Bushnell HDMR. If you want to step up from there, check out sportoptics in hammond and talk to Jay and Chris.

I highly recommend this. Most fun hunting trip I've ever been on.
