one other minor gripe; saruman seemed a bit too much like senator palpatin for my tastes in this movie.
i understood he was still a pretty good guy at the time the hobbit took place.
the hobbit scenes at rivendell made me feel like he was already up in sauron's arse.

That scene was from the appendices, not from the book, but by that time Saruman was already crooked. Galadriel and Gandalph already knew this at that point. That kind of showed in how the two talked to each other outside of spoken word and what Saruman was trying to convince them in regards to th necromancer.
Didn't realize it but the guy on the giant moose was Legolas' dad. Just something my buddy told me that really is pointless information
