A friend of mine who loves rye said this was his favorite, so I picked up a bottle. 80 proof is as mild as a rye can be, so I am interested to try this. Will post a review after I crack it open.

This thread has lost a little momentum but hopefully it will pick back up again. I had an idea that I wanted to share. Since we are all enthusiasts of fine whiskey, and we are probably living in different parts of the country, maybe we can start a bourbon exchange program via this thread. I live in Birmingham and have access to a few craft whiskies like this and others, and would be happy to trade for other bottles that are tough to find around here.

Would anyone else be interested in this?

I would. Not sure about any craft whiskey/bourbons around here though.
