Bbrou33, I have a pair of ice molds, same brand as yours. The key is to use bottled water and freeze them inside a Ziploc bag. If it freezes inside the bag, the ice does not take on the smell of whatever you have in your freezer, and your ice balls will be clear and not cloudy.

Thanks for the advice. I'll try it out. Using it the other night with just tap water worked well. Melted much much slower than normal cubes.
