to me.... i liked the ruger lcr better... grip felt better to my hand, trigger pull smoother and i didnt like the position of the lazer switch on the top, thumb operated...

bought the wife a 642 she dosent really like the trigger pull on it so carry it more than she does, I can conceal it much easier than my xd, I love em, just put a hogue grip on it, I didnt really like the stock grip that came on it.

Great minds think alike - I did the exact same

I originaly changed it for her because this was her first gun and I might have convinced her she would like it better, so honestly it was probaly for me.

I think it's a fine revolver.
Then again, I haven't had any trigger time behind either one. I know people seem to prefer the trigger and the ergos on the LCR though.

I shot the lcr that a friend of mine has and if I had it do do all over again I would go with it.

Have a 642. Want to buy one for every room in the house. Fits my small hands perfectly.

No. There is a guy in Texas named Teddy something. I think he has an online presence known as "Actions by Teddy". He is known for action jobs on these revolvers.

I got a local gunsmith that hit me up 4 or 5 times to do one on mine, I just dont know if it is really that big of a difference on these. I know It wont be like the 3.5 lb pull on my glock

My daughter has it and seldom shoots it
she would rather shoot her 92FS Beretta

Love it and hate it. Laser battery went out after not much use. Cool gun but I wouldn't carry it. Prefer my Beretta 92FS but still looking for my perfect conceal & carry gun.
